Who is Olivia?
Olivia travelled the world as a journalist and charity communications expert before joining Slack Communications. She worked as a reporter in the Middle East and Honduras before returning to London to write and edit for Sky News and Reuters.
Prior to this, she worked as PR Director for international aid and development agency, GOAL UK. Olivia is now using her in-depth knowledge of journalism and charity PR to help Slack Comms’ growing range of clients.
At Slack Communications, Olivia helps people tell their stories, whether they be accounts of inspiring women for a global charity campaign, the hardship and joys of caring for a carers charity, or helping organisations create their key messages so they can effectively achieve their objectives.

Little known fact
Olivia fancies herself as a bit of a poet. She has completed a number of creative writing courses and set up a poetry website that started with friends contributing and ended up attracting writers from near and far. On the days when Olivia is feeling nostalgic about her home town in Ireland, she envisages running a writer’s residency from some sprawling, dilapidated manor house in the wilds of Donegal.
