Monthly round-up

With great power...

Power has been June's theme. Whether that's people finding their power to bring about change or politicians making their moves towards Number 10 – it's been a powerful month.

Changing hearts and minds in 2026 takes more than good arguments. On 10 June we got together with charities, unions and campaign groups to look at how we can find, grow, keep and share our power.

Charities must build narrative resilience to combat rising hostility, according to an article by Becky for Civil Society Media. We'd love to know your thoughts so please get in touch!

Overcoming the challenges of a multi-lingual membership has been on our minds as Matt and Duncan support ‘One Union’ content creation for the new Nautilus website.

What does it take to strengthen the resilience of the NHS and those who use it? Becky supported Prospect Magazine and BIT (Behavioural Insights Team) with the curation of a roundtable. See the next issue of Prospect for an overview.

Using data to find and grow your power! We're gathering requirements for NIPSA's new CRM and website, with Rachel interviewing colleagues on their work to recruit and support members and engage with decision-makers. Next stop: workshops on NIPSA’s processes and a data deep dive.

Our work with consumer diagnostics company Sapphiros continues, including the creation of internal signage, a video of their colleagues in action and further website updates.

The SCoR’s president has spent her year in office raising the profile of sonography. We’ve helped by highlighting the shortage of sonographers, the need for regulation and, this month, promoting SCoR’s Collaborative Ultrasound Manifesto, emphasising how sonographers contribute to diagnosing cancer and reducing waiting lists.

Bold action for better ageing. This is the tagline for the Hallmark Foundation that champions innovation, research and collaboration so everyone can age well - and forms part of the charity's new brand playbook. Want a light touch review of your brand? Get in touch!

Methane abatement is an economic opportunity, not just an environmental issue. This is the key message from MAMII’s five-point action plan for the EU, which launched last month with the help of Becky and Mark Watts.

Our PR specialist Catherine Cooper secured coverage of two families’ fundraising for their children with additional needs, supported by Tree of Hope

And don’t forget our next workshop, PR skills for civil society, on building stronger connections with the media. It’s taking place online on Wednesday 8 July, 10am-12pm – book your place now.
